"After Tea Time"

Ensure that you know what you are going to do after tea.
 
     
 
Avoid a rush from the table by asking everyone to remain seated until their hands have been wiped. Stagger the wiping to allow an orderly exit.
     
Have your helper/s ready to seat the children in preparation for the next activity.
 
     
 
Try and make sure that the after tea activities are not too energetic. The present opening routine (see Chapter 5) works well here.
     
If you are engaging a professional Children's Entertainer this is the ideal time for the performance.
