The Qick Guide to successful children's parties
The Quick version of The Complete Children's Party Survival Guide

Game Time

Plan your games programme well in advance and make a reference list for the day.

Sort out the music before the day and have all your tapes / CDs ready to play.

Choose lively, jolly music that the children will recognise.

Avoid games where not all of the children are involved all of the time.

Avoid "catching-out" games as much as possible. If you do catch children out make sure they stay involved by making them "judges".

Do not give in to children who say "I don't want to play this". Explain that, as they have been invited to the party, they have to play.
